What can we say more about the beautiful largest most populous city in Ireland? Well, it is a “small city”, yes, compared with the most visited capitals in Europe such as London or Paris. Yet there is a magnet that strongly pulls you towards this magnificent city.
It is a place for the “walking” traveler. Taxis are very expensive. But you will surely enjoy strolling, especially around the charming Liffey river flowing through the center of Dublin. This is a great place, but will not show you all what this city has to offer.
For the drinkers and beer lovers, not for me, it offers numerous pubs, spread all around. not only in the Temple Bar neighborhood, though it is a must-see attraction, but also in closer areas for the budget travelers who do not like the feeling of being a stripped tourists.
For food lovers, the choice is really great. Having absorbed a wide variety of immigrants in the past decades, your culinary experience will undoubtedly be rich and memorable, as the offered food is varied and suitable for all the picky eaters.
Although a small city, Dublin has plenty of sights to visit. Fortunately, many city attractions are not that far from city center, and you can visit many spots even within a walking distance. So plan your tour accordingly.
We encourage you to give Dublin a try. Personally, I recommend the summer time from June through August as the weather in these months is warmer and very nice for all outdoor activities.
Enjoy your trip.
